2004년 세단과 쿠페의 장점을 결합한 CLS를 등장시켜 새로운 장르를 개척한 메르세데스 벤츠가 이번엔 왜건의 실용성까지 겸비한 CLS 슈팅브레이크(CLS Shooting Brake)를 선보이며 다시 한번 도전에 나섰다. 슈팅브레이크는 럭셔리함과 실용성을 겸비한 2도어 스포츠카를 일컫는 말로 60~70년대 영국에서 큰 인기를 누린 카테고리. 벤츠는 이러한 특징을 현대적으로 되살려 인기 몰이에 나선다는 전략이다. 공격적인 앞모습을 비롯해 2세대 CLS의 디자인 아이덴티티를 그대로 따른 디자인이지만 C필러 부분을 비롯해 뒷모습엔 제법 변화가 있다. 미끈한 보디 덕에 Cd(공기저항계수)가 0.29로 왜건치곤 상당히 뛰어난 편이다. 무엇보다 1,550L까지 쓸 수 있는 널찍한 트렁크가 돋보인다. 실용성을 높여주..
